Description

Marketing & Communications Manager. Sanderson is working in partnership with its progressive, highly successful and growing international client to recruit a permanent Marketing & Communications Manager to take them into the future and create, develop and monitor the effectiveness of marketing, public relations and stakeholder communications in Ireland and to maintain consistency with the wider Group agenda. Core Duties: Promote strong profiles and brand awareness in Ireland, reinforcing familiarity with the full range of products and services; Develop a communications programme to support key objectives of the businesses in areas including; marketing, sales, recruitment, CSR, operations, finance and health & safety. Gather and make effective use of relevant market intelligence and associated information to support new business development. Gather, measure and review customer satisfaction levels. Promote and measure effectiveness of customer improvement initiatives. Manage information requests from external sources. Devise an effective media relations strategy to promote and raise the profile of the businesses in the Irish media. Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of social media strategies. Key Relationships: Report to the Managing Director taking direction as necessary from SMT with a dotted-line report to Group Head of Communications & Marketing; Work closely with all colleagues across Sales, Operational, Human Resources, HSE, Sustainability and Finance teams; Develop a network of market information sources with both internal and external stakeholders; and. Establish and maintain an effective dialogue with all key media in Ireland. Key Skills & Experience: Build brand awareness, including recognition as an "employer of choice" with a reputation for premium quality, delivery and value. Devise and manage a practical and effective communications programme that supports business objectives and makes effective use of tactical opportunities. Identify and gather key market and sales data that support the objectives of the businesses. Develop sustainable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all activities and communications within this PLC are fully aligned with the Group strategy, bearing in mind rigorous disclosure obligations. Proven ability to engage and influence at a senior level. Collaborative approach with Senior Management Teams. A third-level degree or relevant post-graduate qualification in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or relevant business-related discipline is essential.
